Cartoon Watch, the only monthly cartoon magazine of India published since 24 years from Raipur, Chhattisgarh will organise its Cartoon Festival in Hyderabad. Cartoon Watch Editor Triambak Sharma informed that after successful Cartoon Festivals in Delhi, Mumbai, Raipur, Pune and Chennai this year it will be held in Hyderabad. It is worth mentioning that Cartoon Watch already awarded its Life Time Achievement Awards to cartoonists R.K.Laxman, Sudhir Tailang, Aabid Surti, Pran, Ajit Ninan, Bala Saheb Thackeray and many others.

Mr. Sharma informed that Chief Guest of the function will be Mr. N. Baijendra Kumar (IAS)  and CMD of NMDC. Special Guests of the function will be Mr. Allam Narayana, Chairman of Telangana Press Academy, Mr. Mamidi Hari Krishna, Director Language & Culture, Government of Telangana, Mr. K. Srinivas Reddy, Editor, Telangana Today, Mr. Katta Shekar Reddy, Editor, Namasthe Telangana, Mr. Vardhelli Murali, Editor Sakshi Daily and Dr. Himanshu Dwivedi, Editor of Haribhoomi, Chhattisgarh.

Editor of Cartoon Watch further informed that Life Time Achievement Award of 2019 will be offered to senior cartoonists Late Mr. Mohan (Posthumous), Mr. Jayadev Babu and Mr. M.S.Ramakrishna. Life Time Achievement Award of 2020 will be offered to Mr. Narsim (cartoonist of Nava Telangana Daily), Mr. Shankar (cartoonist Sakshi Daily) and Mr. Mrityunjay (cartoonist of Namasthe Telangana Daily)

Mr. Sharma said that this event is supported by NMDC, Cultural Department of Chhattisgarh and Venue partner is The Park hotel Hyderabad. Event will be only for invitees on 8th February Evening 6 pm at The Park Hotel. He informed that Cartoon Watch is the only bilingual cartoon magazine of India published since 24 years and it is already included in Limca and India book of Records.
