Across 12 Temples in Telangana launched the facility to perform Online “Pujas/Sevas” on behalf of devotees who booked their names online

It is well known fact that the entry to the temples has been restricted from  20th March, 2020 with the announcement of lock down in the country due to the threat of corona virus.

But some of the devotees have expressed their desire to perform pujas in their names without physical entry to the temples. The Endowments Department has launched the facility across 12 noted temples in the State. Devotees can now get pujas or sevas done in their name at their favourite temples in the State, without stepping out of their homes during the lockdown.

In a statement, the Endowments Department authorities said traditional pujas are being performed by the archakas regularly without any interruption.

The department respecting the sentiment of the devotees has decided to provide this facility in the following temples of the state:

1. Sri Laxmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, Yadgirigutta

2. Sri Raja Rajeshwari Temple, Vemulawada

3. Sri Gyan Saraswathi Temple, Basara

4. Sri Seetha Ramachandra Swamy Temple, Bhadrachalam

5. Sri Anjaneya Swamy Temple, Kondagattu

6. Sri Peddamma Temple, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad

7. Sri Laxmi Narsimha Swamy Temple , Dharampuri

And for the following temples, the facility is available through TAPPFOLIO

1. Sri Gyan Anjaneya Swamy Temple, Karmanghat Hyderabad

2. Sri Mahankali Temple, Secundrabad

3. Sri Yellamma Pochamma Temple, Balkampet

4. Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple, Komuravelli

5. Sri Bhadrakali Temple, Warangal

In this arrangement, pujas/sevas will be performed in the names of the devotees who booked online and they will be intimated through SMS about the conduct of the puja/seva. No physical entry of the devotees is permitted during this lock down period.

Soon it will be extended to other temples in the state.

Further, it is to inform that Sri Seetha Rama Kalyanam has been performed on 2nd April, 2020 at Bhadrachalam. The Telangana Government has got developed a Mobile APP for online booking for purchase of ‘Talambralu’. To begin with, this facility was provided to the devotees of the Telangana State only. Already more than 10,000 packets have been booked online. Now this facility has been extended to devotees all over the country.

The cost of one packet of Talambralu is Rs 20/- , Courier charges/service charges extra. The number of packets limited per family is two and they will be delivered within 72 hours. The Talambralu will be delivered through the Postal Department Courier Service at the home of those who have booked online. The devotees all over the country may utilise this facility and gain the divine blessings of the Lord Sri Seetha Rama Chandra Swamy and Goddess Seethamma.
